    Francine Beppu, July 2011 Issue: Hawaii’s Own In Season 2 of The Real L Word

    When I was a kid the L-word was definitely lollipop. As teenager it was almost always lust. As an adult... you can ask me everyday and I will give you a new word each time... lunch, loss, liberty, ladies, longing, lucky, love, lazy, life. The words that make up our lives are as diverse as we want them to be.

    I feel sorry for those whose stories are made entirely of the dreadful W-words...worry, work, and whine.
